LYNX Film is a new Dutch film production company. With a keen eye for stories that dissect underlying social issues LYNX produces films that are cinematographically enticing. 

LYNX Film produced for Zeelandia and the Zeeland Nazomer Festival the short Sober, directed by Joël Duinkerke. Based on a monologue by Paul Pourveur,  inspired by the life of her Great-Grandmother from the theatre play King, sweet king and initiated at Zeelandia by Julia in 2012, Julia now wrote the screenplay for this short film in which she plays the leading part of Adriana.

Sober premiered internationally at Raindance London in 2021 (out of 12000 entries). At Topaz Film Festival (also known as Flicks by chicks) Sober won Best Foreign Short.

LYNX Film's first feature film, Under Water, a debut by Edgar Kapp and Kuba Szutkowski, is a free adaptation for film of Apocalypse Now. Julia is also co-screenwriter and plays Nel, one of the leading parts.

Under Water had its world premiere at Film by the Sea in 2022. The film was nominated in the prestigious Competition 1-2 at the 38th Warsaw International Film Festival (FIAPF recognized) and nominated for Narrative Feature Jury Award (out of 5400 entries) at the 29th Austin Film Festival.

On April 20, 2023, Under Water was released in Dutch movie theaters by distributor Amstelfilm. Under Water, can be watched V.O.D. on Pathé Thuis, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play and iTunes.
